Contact us

Hostrivia is run by a small team, and the same team answers the mail. There is no phone queue and no chatbot.

Have an account? Open a request at /support instead. It arrives with your account attached, you can follow the thread and reply in it, and nothing gets lost in a spam folder.
Response time: we aim to reply within 2 business days.
What to send where
- Something is broken mid-quiz. Email us, and include the room code and roughly what time it happened. That is enough for us to find the room in our logs.
- Account and login problems. Email from the address on the account if you can — it saves a round trip. If you never received a confirmation email, try signing up again first: unconfirmed accounts are cleared automatically after about 24 hours, so the address will be free.
- Billing and refunds. See refunds and cancellation, then email us with the account address and when the charge happened.
- Privacy, a copy of your data, or deletion. See the privacy policy, then email us. Some of it you can do yourself from your profile.
- Reporting content. Use the report control in the game for a question or prompt from one of our packs. For anything else, see the Acceptable Use Policy and email us.
- Feature requests and feedback. There is a suggestion form in /support, and we do read all of it.
- Security. If you have found a vulnerability, email [email protected] with the details and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before publishing. We will not come after anyone who reports something in good faith.
Writing to us in Spanish
Escríbenos en español si lo prefieres. Contestamos en el idioma en que nos escribas.
Who we are
Hostrivia is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address], [Company registration number, if applicable]. Formal or legal notices should go to that address as well as to [email protected].
A note on what we can see
Players are anonymous to us: names, answers and scores live in the running room and are not stored, so once a room closes we cannot look up who played or what they typed. Hosts can be helped much more precisely — so if a game went wrong, the host writing in gets us further than a player does.
