Questions hosts ask
Do players need an app or an account?
No. Players open the join link or scan the QR code on the TV, type a name, and they are in. Only the host has an account.
What do I need to host?
Any screen with a web browser for the host view — a TV with a laptop plugged in, a smart TV browser, a projector — and your own phone or laptop to run it. Players use their own phones.
How many people can play?
Up to 12 phones can join a live room. Playing as teams? Name a slot after the team and share one phone, or run the game in host-only mode with up to 30 named teams and no phones at all.
Do you have games without phones?
Yes. Quickfire, Wordclock, Spinword and Buzzed can run entirely from the host screen with named teams calling out answers, and NoFilter has a pen-and-paper mode. Buzzed also works with physical buzzers.
What happens if someone's phone disconnects?
They reopen the link and land back in their seat with their score. If the host screen reloads, it picks the game back up where it was.
Is it really free?
Yes. While the beta runs, every account hosts every game with unlimited starts, and AI-written packs with a monthly cap. No card is ever asked for. If a paid plan comes later, it will be announced here first.
Yes. A Free account gets three game starts every calendar month with every game available, plus a sample game that does not use a start. Paid adds unlimited starts and AI-written packs.
Can I run a night in Spanish?
Yes. Every ready-made pack is written in both English and Spanish, and each game's screens switch language with it. The host can set the language per game.
